Have you ever been labeled as a bad person, or maybe they criticized you because you have a different point of view? it is not an issue if you have a different lifestyle or you just see things in a different way, people should have a better understanding of things, you should never have a one track mind.So let me tell you something about atheist people, we are a bunch of people that believe in what we know, we are more logical in thinking in a way people see us as a evil person, over the past decades people think atheism is a taboo and not many people welcome atheism as catholic or other religion for that matter, making it really hard for society to accept the fact that atheism is not a crime nor it is unhealthy as i think about me being one, an atheist. and as I search for answer from articles i have stumble upon "Atheism: A personal relationship with reality." this quote is said by "DavidSilverman" the president of the American Atheist, "http://atheists.org/new-billboard-san-diego-puts-atheism-positive-light"
This are the people that made a billboard about atheism, and i believe that being atheist is not a crime but a expression for what is real about our world not being shackled by beliefs and religion, to think freely of ones own thought without any misunderstanding, and i read this from the same article by "Debbie Allen" quoted "We want to express how using intelligence to free oneself of the god idea can open the curtain to a inspiring new outlook," for me it is true if you bind yourself in a way that you think it is already wrong but you still do it anyway, the perfect example is " the crusades" they killed in the name of God even innocent lives has been taken what happened in the 10 commandments "thou shall not kill" if god himself wants to kill innocent life why give a sacred law like the 10 commandments? so we should have a reality check in every possible way, be logical think before you act or should i say dont be a one-sided person open up and embrace the reality that is yourself that is the only way you can express it by opening up to the world.
