CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION

A. Background of the Study

Atheism is not all that bad in the contrary, many people have achieve something, not because their religious or they have strong belief in god, but simply because they work hard on it, because they believe that they can do it just like this people “Richard Dawkins” he is an English ethologist, evolutionary biologist and author.

He has won countless awards and regularly lectures around the world. He widely accredits Charles Darwin as having a profound influence on his life and work, commenting in an interview with The National Geographic Channel Online that Darwin was “the founder of really everything that I do…whereas some people make a discovery and they stumble upon it, Darwin devoted himself to making his theory clear, to listing all the evidence and spending decades of his life gathering the evidence so no one could doubt it.”(http://natgeotv.com/uk/dawkins-darwin-evolution/dawkins-biography)

This goes to show that even if you are an atheist you can do good deeds, not because you just don’t believe in god, you can’t do anything right, RIGHT? This people have achieved some awards because of their research and hard work, making it to the top but still some people always question their actions.

What good will it brings to the society? Well to put it in simpler terms people like them can make some difference in the world, not all religious people commit into something that doesn’t involve their god or something like that, and therefore atheist excels more in the department of innovating our world, I’m not bias just because I myself is an atheist, but let’s face it people like them are the best for this kind of job because they are logical In thinking and they don’t use fiction in deducting they use facts and hard proof evidence in doing their research they don’t rely on a make believe non existing man.
